Ferdinand NDAYIRAGIJE is Chairman and legal representative of the Forum pour la Mémoire Vigilante (FMV). As President and legal representative of the Forum pour la Mémoire Vigilante (FMV), he is responsible for management of the organization and the negotiation of cooperation with their partners. He ensures the management and coordination of activities and projects aimed at helping beneficiaries to recover their dignity by refusing to be passive victims of violence, to live the present by combating the experience of the painful past, and to build their better future.
Before creating the FMV, Ferdinand NDAYIRAGIJE was the President of the commission of survivors in the “Association pour la lutte Contre le Génocide” Association for the fight against Genocide (AC Genocide-Cirimoso), an association working in Burundi. Member of the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS), in 2017, during the thirteenth meeting of the International Association of Genocide Scholars holded in Brisbane on 9 – 13 July 2017, at the St Lucia campus of The University of Queensland, Ferdinand NDAYIRAGIJE presented a project idea whose subject “Can Genocide Survivors’ Organizations Play a Central Role in Prevention Efforts? »
Ferdinand NDAYIRAGIJE worked for “Institut Supérieur de Gestion des Entreprises (ISGE)” the Higher Institute of Business Management for 7 years in (Burundi), as Executive Assistant. He was instrumental in improving the living and working conditions of ISGE staff in 2012.
In 2017, he was also active as founder and legal representative, then as president of the executive committee of the Forum pour la Mémoire Vigilante (FMV). In 2020 Ferdinand NDAYIRAGIJE worked in the Central African Republic (CAR) in a humanitarian organization in Bangui and in Ouham Pendé in the North West of the Central African Republic.
